Open Masterdata: article data and prices in real time
Open Masterdata, or OMD, is the industry standard for querying article master data on demand. Instead of loading a DATANORM file once a quarter, KraftHub asks the supplier about the individual article at costing time and receives master data, your price, availability, descriptions, images and datasheets as a structured answer.
How you know you need it
The article catalogue is as old as the last DATANORM delivery.
Prices get updated when somebody has time, which means rarely.
Datasheets and images are missing from quotes and hunted down by hand.
The price changed between costing and ordering and nobody noticed.
Articles the supplier discontinued long ago are still in the catalogue.
What an OMD connection can retrieve
Which data packages a supplier enables varies. The connection shows what that endpoint actually delivers.
Retrieval using the supplier's own article number
Retrieval using the globally unique article number
Retrieval by manufacturer and manufacturer article number
Your negotiated price, not the list price
Stock level and ability to supply
Short and long texts, marketing copy
Product images, datasheets, assembly instructions, dimension sketches
Several articles in one call — for whole quotes rather than single lines
Before and after
Preconfigured suppliers
Endpoint, grant type and scope are stored for Andreas Paulsen, Buderus, Elmer, G. Hoffmann, GC-Gruppe, Holter, Nerlich & Lesser, Peter Jensen, Pietsch, Richter+Frenzel, Sanitär-Heinze and Zajadacz. You add your own credentials. Any further supplier with an OMD endpoint connects the same way.
Your data comes with you.
Projects, quotes, invoices, customers, prices, site photos and work reports from your old trade software — €1,199 flat, free from many systems until 31.12.2026.
